The location of the accommodation was perfect for our city break, close to local restaurants and shops. The view from our room was stunning and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony relaxing. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette which allowed us to prepare snacks and meals. We loved that the accommodation was walking distance to local attractions and had great access to public transportation. We were also impressed with the lovely breakfast selection provided each morning.

The only downside to the accommodation was the lack of clarity regarding breakfast, as it was not included in the price. On the first morning, we were surprised to pay an additional fee for our son's juice. We recommend checking with the staff in advance to avoid any confusion.

I stayed at the Birkenhof with my German girlfriend and a friend from Egypt. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. When going to the Pfronten region again, the Birkenhof will be my first choice!

Felt a lot like home - the way rooms are made up and also the decorations around the house. Owners take great care of the place and make sure guests feel welcome.

The lack of an elevator could be a challenge for those with mobility issues, but the spacious stairway made it manageable for us.

The hosts were most gracious and very helpful. We had quiet rooms on the back overlooking the fields and enjoyed the sunset on the room's balcony. Breakfast was ample in a sunny breakfast room.

There aren't many restaurants within walking distance and while the Falkenstein was recommended, it was noisy, with picnic seating in the middle of traffic, and rude service. I would recommend driving to something more relaxing and pleasant.

Room was large and spacious and both our double and single had their own balcony. The ensuite facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast, and everything was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at a hotel in this city and had a great time. The best aspects were the location, as we could walk to nearby restaurants and the castle, and the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful. We also appreciated the amenities such as parking and transportation.

Family run Hotel that really does look after all of the guests needs. The Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout with a good daily room service. Rooms are Bavarian style well appointed with balconies and excellent views of the mountains.

My recommendations for the future would be Sky television due to the international clientel and access to the Internet?

Hotel staff was wonderful with us, room very clean and comfortable, breakfast excellent. Hotel is also quite near to Ludwig famous castles in Hohenswangau (15 minutes by car). Very good value for money.

There was no wi-fi internet connection in the room: I knew when I booked this hotel, as it was clearly stated in the hotel information, but I would suggest the owners to offer it to their guests...

The room was spacious and had great amenities with a small kitchen and balcony. the location was perfect with easy access to nearby restaurants and a train station. the helpful and friendly owners offered a great perk with the Konigscard for free adventures and activities in the area.

The sleeping arrangements were cramped in the family room and the shower was quite small.
